Cullington, Judith

  
Long term resident and urban sustainability advocate Judith Cullington is running for Colwood Council. For the past four years Judith served as a citizen representative on the Colwood Parks and Recreation Committee, and over the last year she was also a member of the Steering Committee that guided the development of the Colwood Official Community Plan. Her community experience includes ten years volunteering with Beavers and Scouts and seven years with the Esquimalt Lagoon Stewardship Initiative. She is a founding member of the Colwood Association for Smart Growth and regional Urban Forest Stewardship Initiative, and led the organization of the 2008 Green Living Expo at Colwood Plaza. Judith is a professional writer and facilitator, who runs a successful business helping communities move towards sustainable urban environments (Judith Cullington & Associates is a member of the West Shore Chamber of Commerce and Values-based Business Network.)  Judith and her family (Glen, Paul and Chris Okrainetz) have lived in Colwood for 14 years.
