“I think it is time we moved in a new direction for Colwood, one that puts residents first.”
I am running for council because Colwood is in the middle of the most exciting time of its history! Where we want to go as a city is being decided right now. It’s time for some new members on council – that want to move forward while listening to their citizens. Ones that can make priorities. It’s time we deal with the issues; such as our increasing sewage costs, the lack of affordable housing, rising municipal taxes, and an ever-growing “Colwood Crawl”. We are lucky to be a city sought-out by new families and we need to continue to make this so. The foundation laid by our Official Community Plan is a start, but we need to work on attracting new business and tourists to Colwood. Let’s be excited at the opportunities that we have right now.
