The Chamber represents more than 600 West Shore business members and is a catalyst through which proactive business leaders and professionals can act together as one voice to affect dynamic, positive changes in the community. The Chamber's goal is to ensure that the West Shore has a thriving and successful economy. The Chamber's success in achieving this goal helps to ensure there are enough jobs, and that all government, education, cultural and charitable needs facing the community are adequately met.

But what about your business? What will you get from becoming a member of this Chamber?
Get Known!
The Chamber is a gathering place for business owners in our community. At our many networking events (monthly mixers, luncheon and breakfast meetings, Awards of Excellence, Annual Gala), the Chamber provides the ideal opportunity for you to network, improving your visibility and brand recognition among customers and supplies. In addition, an online business directory, printed annual member directory, and the WestShore Magazine provide opportunities for valuable exposure to loyal WestShore shoppers, as does the opportunity to be a sponsor at a Chamber event. Being a Chamber member also raises the profile and credibility of your business in the community.
Save Money!
The Chamber offers special rates to members for events, training, and other discounts through the BC Chamber, such as employee health insurance plans, payroll processing, Visa and Mastercard rates, fuel discounts, long distance discounts, office supplies and more. Being a part of the Chamber network means you save money, and everyone knows that’s good for business!
Be Represented!
The WestShore Chamber, working with the BC Chamber of Commerce, lobbies all levels of government on behalf of its membership to promote the interests of businesses in our communities. This work often takes place quietly in response to emerging issues at the direction of the Chamber’s Board of Directors; however, Chamber members are encouraged to present their concerns for consideration in this important process.
Get Trained!
The Chamber understands that business owners are busy people, and that training is often expensive and/or difficult to attend in half or full day chunks. The Chamber offers a variety of training initiatives that target specific business needs in short, manageable pieces with exceptional pricing, making continuous learning possible for even the busiest people.
