Social Media Camp Lunch & Learn Series: How to Use LinkedIn More Effectively

With over 590 million users globally – LinkedIn provides a world of opportunities for you and your business.
This session will be geared to intermediate LinkedIn users who already have a profile set up, but beginners are welcome to attend. Please bring your smartphone or tablet and install the LinkedIn app in advance.

In this session we’ll cover:

  • The LinkedIn profile credibility checklist
  • The importance of growing a quality network on LinkedIn – quality vs. quantity
  • 3 ways to increase your visibility & stay ‘top of mind’ without being spammy
  • Personal LinkedIn profiles vs. Groups vs. Company pages – Pros & Cons
  • How to be effective with the time you spend to build relationships that will support your business goals!

Presenter: JUHLi SELBy, Owner of JUHLi SELBy Social Media

JUHLi is an award winning marketing and technology instructor who has educated hundreds of professionals and small business owners on how to use social media tools effectively to build relationships. She’s the Founder of JUHLi SELBy Social Media, a training company based in Victoria BC, that offers private lessons, courses and workshops. She also teaches social media marketing for Continuing Education at Camosun College. She’s an enthusiastic and patient teacher who translates social media marketing into plain English, to help her clients and students get comfortable, and feel confident connecting and communicating online.
